I pitied her and I thought to myself “O Lord if only I could do anything for her.” Her husband had left her for another woman-the idiot did not feel a bit of pity for the poor woman. He left her and his children and since that time this woman had been quiet slowly dying everyday of grief and sadness. In her mind are many questions that remains unanswered: What did she do wrong? Did he not really love her & the children? She seldom spoke to anyone; probably losing her confidence in life.
If the system being followed was of God, her husband could have been persecuted. Or if the husband had been allowed to marry that other girl and the three of them became a family-would that idiot left this poor woman? The idiot had only his youth and look as a capital and did not even have a means of livelihood. He had hoodwink this poor woman to fleece her of her hard earned money and after seeing a more lucrative options had left her.
The poor woman became a widow or in our term her “BALO-BUHI” or a widowed woman whose husband is still alive but had left her! And how does it feel to be betrayed by a husband or a wife? Could we symphatize or emphatize with her? Do we feel hatred for the BIG BIG LIE OF SHOULD BE MONOGAMY FOR ALL MEN? If not then are under the spell of the evil one! So wake up Christians!
